What coins does Crypto for Charity accept?

We currently accept over 130 coins, which comprise all of the coins currently listed on Binance. We have plans to add additional coins in the future.

What if the price fluctuates during the transaction?

Crypto for Charity executes liquidation trades at the best possible price at the time we verify the senders identification to preserve the integrity of your donation.

Where is my information stored?

All your information is stored in a secure remote database, and will not be sold to any third parties for any reason. We retain this information for tax records and because of IRS mandate.

How do I know my money is going to the specified charity?

We will release annual reports as per IRS requirement detailing exactly where all funds received were allocated.

How do charities recieve my donation?

Our platform liquidates donations and sends the funds to charities either at the time of sale directly via a bank deposit, or we donate to them electronically in the donors name as soon as possible.

Will I recieve a tax deduction for donations through Crypto For Charity?

Yes! We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and as such you get the full value of your donation as a tax write-off. Our platform automatically generates tax receipts and emails them to donors once their donation has been verified by our network.

How significant is the tax benefit of using Crypto For Charity?

Depending on many variables such as appreciated value, annual taxable income, etc, your donation could be worth up to 40% more by donating to your desired charity through Crypto For Charity's platform. This means a bigger write-off for you, and more money going to the causes you care about.

What if I am donating more than $5,000 in cryptocurrency?

Since cryptocurrency has yet to be classified by the IRS, donations of over $5,000 need to be appraised by a qualified appraiser in order to get a write-off for your donation. However, the cost of this appraisal is most likely less than the tax you would be paying by liquidating your cryptocurrency before donating.
